The Myself UK Dance Youth Company - ME.I @Future 4 Youth 2015
Myself UK Dance July 2015
Myself UK Dance's youth company, ME.I, successfully made it through to the second round of the youth dance project run by Impact Dance, "Future 4 Youth". Emmanuella Spence-Marshall, Sarah Abdul G, Kimberley Reyes and Nicole Castillo Mavromatis performed at ACE in Birmingham on Saturday the 25th July 2015 to battle it out for a space in the second phase of the project. The company were chosen for one of 10 places out of 17 UK Youth Dance companies. The Future 4 Youth project focuses on the theme of dance of the African Diaspora and its relationship with Hip-Hop Dance. Look out for information on their next performance and phase of the project which will take place in London on the 10th October 2015. Well Done ladies! :)

Myself UK Dance - Studio Sharing July 2015 @Studio B
Myself UK Dance July 2015
Myself UK Dance held their first studio sharing on Saturday 4th July 2015 at the newly refurbished Studio B, in Brixton. The show was a great success, with an amazing, supportive and positive audience. Bismark Anobah was our incredible host for the night, and certainly kept the audience entertained in between acts. Kofi-M was our amazing DJ playing nothing but absolute bangers and Ben Jammin was our guest filmogropher making sure he caught all the action on tape. The talented Myself dancers of the night were: Chloe Miles, Cynthia Lacordelle, Devon Young, Ellen Hunter, Georgina Newell, Jazmyn Alicia Raikes, Kloe Dean, Laura Powney, Melissa Bravo and Rosie Wilson Sidlauskas. The night was directed and produced by Kloé Dean and would not have been achievable without her amazing company of dancers, team of helpers and venue, Studio B. A big thank you to all who were involved in making the night happen and the audience who came to support. Myself UK Dance Company love you all!

Myself UK Dance competed at The Hot Stepper Dance Competition in May 2015 and successfully placed 2nd in the Adult Crew Division. Check out the footage from the event in the link below. A big well done to the company dancers who took part; Chloe Miles, Cynthia Lacordelle, Ellen Hunter, Georgina Newell, Jazmyn Raikes, Joanne AJ Daniels, Kloé Dean, Laura Powney and Rosie Wilson Sidlauskas.
The set is made up of a fiery mix of choreography including music from Missy Elliott, Kaytranada and JME.

Myself UK Dance's very own Melissa Bravo has successfully been accepted to study at Bodyworks in Cambridge starting in September 2015. Melissa has been working extremely hard and is extremely talented. We want to wish her the best of luck with her studies, we know she will do amazingly.
